This Mazda 323 was built in the USA by Rod Millen Motorsport and contested in the 1989 & 1990 Asia Pacific Rally Championship with Rod and Tony Sircombe going on to win the 1989 APR Championship in this car. Also taking 2nd Overall in Rally of NZ behind the European Mazda of Ingvar Carlsson giving Mazda its only ever 1, 2 finish in a WRC Event & 5th overall in Rally of Australia behind the might of the factory European Lancia & Toyota Teams
