She is a leading advocate for women coming through in motorsport and has flown the Kiwi flag twice at World Time Attack Challenge (Australia). With considerably more power than it’s last appearance at Leadfoot Festival 2015/2016, Kat isn’t coming just to make up numbers, she will be attacking the hill to continue her run of personal bests.

With considerably more power than it’s last appearance at Leadfoot Festival 2015/2016, Kat isn’t coming just to make up numbers, she will be attacking the hill to continue her run of personal bests.
2001 Mitsubishi Evolution 7:
Kat’s championship winning 2001 BurgerFuel Mitsubishi Evolution 7 has been hitting circuits around New Zealand since 2014. She has competed locally in the NZ SuperLap Series, 4 & Rotary Jamboree, along with 2 previous Leadfoot Festival attendances in 2016 & 2017. Additionally, Kat and her team have taken the car on 2 international trips to Australia competing on the global stage for World Time Attack Challenge at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Over the past 2 years, the BurgerFuel Evo 7 has undergone a raft of upgrades, including: a displacement increase taking the 4G63 engine from 2.0 to 2.3 litres; KAPS dogbox transmission; MCA coilover suspension upgrade; complete Link Engine Management suite; various Turbosmart products to control the boost coming from the new Borgwarner EFR turbo; Sinco Exhaust system; full race brake package; plus an overhaul of the aero kit. Power levels are now at a comfortable 430kw on low boost setting of 18psi running through the Wavtrac differential to ultra soft Nitto NT01 tyres wrapped around lightweight 18×10.5” Enkei RPF1 wheels. Not only is this vehicle a wild racecar, it is still fully road legal which makes it one crazy street machine if the desire arises.
