George is an avid TVR fan and lusted after the cars since he first saw the TVR Griffith on the cover of Performance Car in 1991. He has owned three modern era TVR’s and the opportunity to own and drive this icon from the 90’s is a privilege. Arriving in New Zealand in 2003 he was surprised and stoked to find 130+ TVR’s registered here. And the best thing is apparently that his wife Barbara completely understands. George has a modest racing experience. He is starting his second season of racing at European Race Classics (ERC Series). He has competed in the Arrows class (the faster of the two classes). He is also starting his second year at the SCCNZ Sprint series and was third overall last year.
He has been on the track for many years at race testing and has plenty of solo run experience but only converted that to racing last year.
