Neil has been involved in motorsport for more than 35 years. He started initially as a crew member with his brother then turned to racing for himself during the last 20 years in his Anglia. He is a regular competitor in Classic racing events around the country as well as being involved in Classic Rallying in a little Datsun 1200. He has also been involved with Karting for many years. Neil was born and bred in Dunedin and loves it there.

1955 Ford Anglia 100E:

The 1955 Ford Anglia 100E has significant New Zealand racing history having competed in OSCA and Shell Sport racing in the early 1970’s before being rebuilt by the original owner (Mr Neville Boon) to compete in Classic Racing events from the late 1990’s. It is and has been since 1972, powered by a 2000cc Cortina Pinto engine and gearbox. It still retains complete period componentry including ignition points and rubber suspension bushes.
