Jimmy started racing quarter midgets at the age of 9. At the age of 16 he was too old to race quarter midgets and was offered his fathers 1977 Pontiac Firebird hill climb car. He raced the Colorado Hill Climb along with some land speed and dirt modified events. Since then he has been involved in only the hill climbs and is really excited to check the Leadfoot Festival off of his bucket list.

1977 Pontiac Firebird:

This 1977 Pontiac Firebird has a Chevy 350 engine, a Muncie 4 speed transmission, a mostly stock suspension, and a Ford 9 inch. This car was Jimmy’s father’s high school car before it was transformed into a race car. He has been helping tune on this car since a tiny boy until he became old enough to drive it. It has always been a way to bring the family and friends together and fulfill the need for speed.
